Unify Your Family🛡️

This year, my wife and I updated our family apparel—yes, we have a family logo! Few things bring me greater joy than watching my grandchildren run into our house, give me a big hug, and point to the logo that symbolizes where they belong.

If we don’t create symbols to help our children, grandchildren, and loved ones know where they fit and belong, they’ll look for it elsewhere. Call it eccentric, call it crazy, I call it brilliant. I refuse to wear corporate brands that don’t align with my values. Instead, we created our own family logo and apparel, gifting updated designs to everyone this Christmas.

1-1

Our family logo holds deep meaning:

  • My wife is at the center, representing the source of light and truth that binds us all.
  • I surround her in black, offering a safe and stable space unified with her divine power.
  • Our sons are represented by individual colors—John in green, Matthew in red, Nathan in blue, Tim in yellow, and Alex in blue.
  • As they marry, their wives (our daughters-in-law) take the central role within their families in white, just as my wife does in ours.
  • The grandchildren choose their own colors, but their symbols remain fixed as part of the larger design. Each symbol points inward, symbolizing unity and love. We never turn our backs on one another.

Family-Logo-2024

Watching our family wear the logo with pride—children, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, everyone—is a highlight of the season! And one of the most cherished traditions is formally inducting new grandchildren into the family.

At our cabin, we present the child, assign their color, and add their unique symbol to our family crest. It’s a simple yet profound way to show that they belong and are valued.

This symbology has transformed our family. It builds connection, pride, and a deep sense of belonging. If this resonates with you, I encourage you to create your own family logo. It’s not just a design, it’s a legacy.

This year, I partnered with my son Nathan and his wife Taylor, who run a brilliant business specializing in creating family symbols, apparel, house wear, and heirlooms. If you’re ready to explore this for your family, they can help you design your logo and bring it to life with beautifully branded items.

Let’s strengthen our families, our tribes, and our values with something as simple—and as powerful—as a logo.

God bless you and your loved ones.
